[177Lu]Lu-ACP is a preclinical radiopharmaceutical designed for the targeted radiotherapy of tumors expressing the calcitonin gene-related peptide receptor (CGRPR). The agent consists of a CGRPR-specific peptide bioconjugate, DOTA-Bn-NCS-FV-Tic-TDVGPFAF (ACP), radiolabeled with the beta-emitting isotope lutetium-177. CGRPR and its ligand CGRP are implicated in multiple hallmarks of cancer and are overexpressed in various primary malignancies. In preclinical studies, [177Lu]Lu-ACP demonstrated effective tumor targeting and significant tumor growth control in CGRPR-positive tumor models, suggesting its potential as a therapeutic component of a theranostic pair alongside imaging agents like [111In]In-ACP.
